After visiting with Lohit and Mona Lisha, a group of us visit a small road-side store just around the corner from the water station. Small bags of chips and cookies are taped together in long columns, and a variety of other items are on display for purchase. Vehicles speed by on the busy highway nearby. A number of local men seem to be spending their morning at this shop. The vendor running the shop is a Spring Health customer. He buys water to give to his customers when they pull off of the highway and make a purchase at his shop. A few of us invest in a small cup of chai tea and some snacks to take with us as we continue on our way.
