Later in the day we travel to another area to visit a small group of homes where several households buy Spring Health water. Sudipta is one of a family of eight (ages 21-65) that is using Spring Health water. The well-water close to their home is no longer good for drinking. When Spring Health did a door-to-door survey in the neighborhood, Sudipta’s family decided to buy in.
Before using Spring Health water, members of the family were dealing with skin and stomach problems.
They were using bleach to try to keep the well water pure. Now they get Spring Health water delivered directly to their home, and it is clearly something that they are glad to have. We remove our shoes enter their house, finding ourselves in a room with cement floors and brightly-coloured walls. We stand and visit with Sudipta and her mother. Dr. Polak shares some of his background with them, and we learn about the family and their work. After some time, Sudipta’s brother Johnson joins us. He is a musician, and the family ends up giving us several of his CDS which he signs for us.
